Learning Disability England response to the Care Quality Commission proposals to change how hospitals, care homes and supported living are registered.

ABOUT THIS REPORT
The Care Quality Commission has made proposals for changing how it will register new hospitals, care homes and supported living. The proposals are broadly welcomed and this is Learning Disability England’s response to them.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) wrote a report about what they look for to help them decide if they can allow a service that supports people with learning disabilities to start running.

CQC wanted to know what people with learning disabilities, families and organisations thought about their ideas.
