Support providers

This page tells you how organisations that support people with learning disabilities can get help from the H&SA.The H&SA helps support providers to promote person-centred approaches to housing and support. We also offer information on all technical,financial, legal and regulatory aspects of housing and support.

This support and information includes:
  • help with the legal and regulatory framework including MCA, DOLs, CQC and welfare benefit regulations 
  • how to change from residential care to supported living models 
  • how to expand the range of housing options available to support providers
  • how to improve quality in supported living services 
  • support with strategies to diversify, increase housing supply and support people in different ways 
  • help with planning housing with people and families. 

We have two levels of membership. Basic membership offers remote support and information. Full membership includes more intensive support and onsite training and consultancy. Find out more.

We offer training and consultancy to members and non-members.
